Introduction

Hi, I’m Jim Weaver! I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist. But you also might call me a counselor, psychotherapist, life coach, or mentor. I help people who want to make changes in their lives, ones that could be struggling with depression and anxiety, family conflict, trauma, anger, or any other life stressors. I support them in believing in themselves, taking a humanistic and existential approach, meeting them where they are, having unconditional positive regard, and guide them to where they can find different ways to approach their struggles in a constructive and supportive way. I know from my own path to wellness, working with youth, adults, all genders, ethnic backgrounds for over 20 years, that the therapeutic relationship, trust and rapport, is of utmost importance in the therapy process, and I strive myself in making connections with the people I serve, and build that foundation for us to do our best work.
