As a Clinical Psychologist, I use evidence-based practices in an integrative way, tailoring treatment for individuals based on a shared and on-going discussion of inherent strengths, personal preferences, and psychological needs. My therapeutic style is warm, yet interactive and direct. I believe in providing clients with a comfortable and safe climate to explore problematic patterns, learn practical skills, and make meaningful change. As a collaborative process, I highly value open discussion in therapy about what feels to be working well, and what feels to be less effective. While I work with clients on many different issues, I have particular expertise in stress management, health psychology, disordered eating, maladaptive coping behaviors, and often co-occurring mood (i.e., Depression) and Anxiety Disorders.
