Introduction

Jillian earned her masters degree in social work and is now independently licensed as a clinical therapist. Jillian has experience in domestic violence shelters, public and private school settings, as well as in home and outpatient therapy. She is trained in several trauma informed modalities such as Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), and Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment (SMART). All of her trauma training has especially been catered towards children and adolescents. Jillian has also created and teaches a course called Integrating Cognitive Behavioral Practices and Faith where people are taught how therapeutic skills, brain science, and scripture reinforce one another. This course is geared to both high school students and adults. Jillian is a committed to helping individuals, couples, and families heal from traumas and events that have hindered full freedom or living integrated lives. She believes it is essential to integrate all elements of a person-body, mind, and soul-in order to be who you were originally created to be. Jillian grew up in church and it has been the foundation of her life. She and her husband are active, serving members of New Life Southcoast. They're raising a few (incredible) kids, and the sweetest labrador.
