Therapy is about building a new relationship - usually a better and healthier one - than the ones we experienced in our families of origin. This takes time, but it's good work, because working with a therapist is a way to heal the past, fix the present and look more confidently toward the future. I help people develop better coping skills, as well as understanding and compassion for where they've been. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression and working to improve family systems. My approach is to connect with my clients by deeply understanding their history and story, to support them in unearthing and facing their challenges and to celebrate their successes on this journey.
