I am a Licensed Psychologist in San Luis Obispo County, providing individual psychotherapy. I have been in practice for over 20 years. My aim is to meet clients where they are and guide them to see themselves and their choices more clearly. My approach is evidence-based, and my therapeutic style is warm, honest, and accepting. I specialize in working with stress and anxiety, chronic pain, life transitions, and relationship issues. My intention is to help clients gain insight into the source of their emotional pain, identify and clarify personal strengths and values, and make mindful action-based change driven by these values and strengths. Skill-building and lifestyle changes in the areas of assertive communication, mindfulness meditation, stress reduction, and nutritional changes to support optimal mental health are frequently addressed in my work with clients. I provide appointments Monday through Friday, and am able to provide evening appointments upon request.
