With over ten years of experience in counseling individuals of all ages, I believe in the capacity for meaningful change. My work focuses on helping people gain the insight, strength, and connection needed to lead the lives they desire. I approach each individual with curiosity, warmth, and an understanding that every person’s journey is unique. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and incorporate an intersectional approach in my work to honor the diverse experiences and identities of my clients. My therapeutic approach is eclectic and person-centered, prioritizing collaboration, authenticity, and the therapeutic relationship as the foundation of healing. I also offer art therapy interventions for those interested. You don't need any prior experience with art-making to benefit from this approach. Art can be a powerful tool for expressing difficult emotions, building self-awareness, and organizing thoughts in a safe, non-judgmental space. I strive to meet every individual with curiosity and warmth and I value the unique experience that each person has moving through this world. I am looking forward to the opportunity to support you in your journey. A bit about me... Studying art at university, I reveled in creative expression and art making. My relationship with art broadened as I began to grasp its possibilities for growth and healing and felt called to study art therapy. Image making and creative work helps me join with my inner world while attuning to the world around me. Natural spaces have always drawn me. I am centered and restored by running on trails, hiking with my family and attending to the details of the natural world. I am a mother of two, balancing this identity with that of working outside the home. Through the daily challenges I seek quiet moments to appreciate the joy my children find in the world. I am a learner and lifelong seeker of experience, relationships, and knowledge. In supporting and in seeing each person I meet, I feel honor and fulfillment. I am serene, knowing I am on my path.
