Introduction

Welcome! I’m Jessie Luttrell, founder of Ray of Hope Therapy, LLC. I'm passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where healing and personal growth can take place. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, I specialize in working with both adolescents and adults, offering individual therapy tailored to each person’s unique story, challenges, and goals. My therapeutic style is warm, relational, and rooted in the belief that healing begins in the context of a trusting, authentic connection. I’m deeply committed to helping clients uncover the strengths that have always existed within them, often hidden beneath layers of doubt or challenge. I primarily draw from person-centered and solution-focused approaches, while also integrating evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). This allows me to help clients build insight, develop coping skills, and make meaningful, lasting change. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to walk beside you with empathy, respect, and hope to uncover your own resilience. I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University and completed my clinical training at the College of Charleston, where I worked with a diverse range of concerns, from adjustment issues and academic stress to complex trauma. My professional background also includes a focus in areas such as grief, identity development, and relational dynamics. Before becoming a therapist, I spent time in the fashion industry in New York City. Though a very different world, that experience helped shape my deep appreciation for creativity, individuality, and the human journey. Eventually, I found my way back to the field that truly felt like home. Although I was raised in the North, I have always thought of myself as a misplaced Southerner at heart. When I'm not in session, you can usually find me trying out a new recipe, reading on the beach, or volunteering with my local church community. I believe that no matter where you’re starting from, there is always a path forward, and it starts with a single step. I’m honored to walk this path with you to find your Ray of Hope.
