Introduction

Welcome to JKR Psychology, LLC! My name is Dr. Jessie Pauley (she/her) and I am a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Colorado and a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC). I earned my Master's degree in Sport and Performance Psychology and Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver. My professional services include providing individual therapy and consultation, and I am currently accepting new clients. As a therapist, I have been described as genuine, present, reflective, and connecting. I show up fully human with each of my clients and recognize the power that can come from embracing authenticity. My therapeutic specializations are identity development, Queerness, and sport and performance psychology. I also enjoy working with a variety of adults (18+) who present with various treatment goals. I practice therapy primarily from an Existential-Humanistic lens that includes utilizing somatic work, exploring intersectional identities, attuning to emotion, and discussing interpersonal patterns. Further, my clinical work encompasses present moment awareness in the here-and-now, the significance of meaning-making in people's lives, a capacity of choice in facing their fears, and the power of perspective and insight to embark on lasting change. If you feel like you are ready to hold space for yourself as you look within to find who you are - you are in the right place. The work is not easy, but I can guarantee you won't have to do it alone. Please reach out for a free 15 minute phone consultation to see if we would be a good fit for therapy!
