I view therapy as a partnership and I strive to create a respectful, welcoming, and safe space for my clients. I work with adults 18+ to process trauma, explore their LGBTQ+ identities, cope with stress and anxiety, heal from depression, manage life changes, and much more. Many people already have coping strategies, but I can help analyze what is and isn't working, refine the healthy strategies, and add some new skills to practice. I use evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) while always keeping each person’s individual needs in mind. I love working with mindfulness, improving boundaries, and building resiliency. Beginning therapy can be a daunting step, but I'm a firm believer that holding pain and suffering inside will only make things worse. The pain and suffering have to come out somehow! I am a patient listener and I will do my best to support you. Therapy can be hard work, but it can also bring well-earned relief and peace.
