Jessica Wilkiel, LCPC, received her Bachelor’s degree in both Psychology and English Literature from Benedictine University and a Master’s of Science in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University. Jessica believes in a more eclectic approach to counseling, which takes into account the individual needs and goals of the client. The most common modalities utilized are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and client-centered. Jessica has worked in psychiatric and outpatient facilities providing goal-oriented therapy to both adolescents and adults. She is passionate about helping clients identify root issues that keep them stuck, and empower them to grow and explore their mental health in a new light. Jessica works primarily with clients that have experienced trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, ptsd, relationship issues, career issues, and communication issues.
