Introduction

Hello beautiful soul! I am Jes – vigilante therapist, healing guide, collector of stories, accumulator of tools, holder of space, conscious creator, and mindful participant and lover of life. I started my journey in the mental health field in 2012 working as a therapist, providing individual therapy, and facilitating group skills classes. In 2018, I attended a women’s retreat that I describe as my “Midlife Enlightenment”. It was here that I had a brutal, yet necessary unraveling of all my outdated and embedded narratives about myself and my work. I finally understood what it meant to step out of an identity that was built around external expectations, and live a life that felt like Home to me. I unlearned a lot of things and learned even more. I gained immense personal and professional clarity. I realized that looking at mental health alone is not the whole picture of wellness, as it left a lot out of the healing process. As Aristotle so declared- “The whole is greater than the sum of it’s parts”. It is with that ideology that I am continuing to build my expertise and community to not only offer healing around all of our parts, but around the whole person in an integrated healing approach. I have since pivoted to collect a variety of tools, modalities, and resources to launch my own practice that focuses on moving toward wellness, rather than moving away from illness (and “symptom reduction”), as wellness is more than the absence of illness. I work from a heavy foundation in courageously existing in raw authenticity and practicing radical self-care. My goal for every person I work with is not just to cultivate a life that you don’t want to escape from, but one that you feel enthusiastic about participating in fully. If you are ready to start your journey, I look forward to walking alongside you on your way to coming home to yourself. <3
