Introduction

Milestones offers a unique, inclusive indoor play gym and pediatric therapy practice in a single dynamic setting. Our mission is to support development and participation of all children and families in a professionally supported, yet natural, play-based environment. Our integrative team of occupational, yoga, and music therapists achieves this by utilizing a multi-tier model of service delivery. In getting to know our clients, we strive to meet them where they are and provide the ongoing support necessary on their child's developmental journey. Our first tier consists of inclusive groups rich in natural play or other meaningful developmental activities, such as music or yoga, that expose children and families to purposeful activities materials, as well as provide ongoing parent collaboration. This tier closely resembles early intervention services in a natural social setting versus the home setting. Our next level consists of small therapy groups, which are ideal for children working on an array of social skills related to sensory processing, executive functioning, social communication, emotional regulation, and attention. Using our final tier, we provide traditional therapy services for those clients who require this level support in order to meet their goals. Many of our clients transition between tiers or participate in services from multiple tiers simultaneously, providing a dynamic approach to their treatment.
