Jessica is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a decade of experience in the field of psychotherapy. Her journey in the world of counseling has taken her through various settings, from schools and residential programs to providing in-home services and outpatient care. This diverse background has enriched her ability to connect with individuals from all walks of life. Providing culturally sensitive services to the clients she serves is of paramount importance to her. She is a biracial woman (although she appears white), Jessica is keenly aware of how important it is for social workers to advocate for social justice, and implement change to social policies that perpetuate institutional racism and discrimination. She intentionally creates a space in therapy for clients to process their racial experience and issues related to racial identity. Approach: Jessica's therapeutic toolkit draws from a range of approaches, including psychodynamic therapy for deeper insight, cognitive-behavioral techniques for practical solutions, mindfulness for self-awareness, strengths-based counseling for empowerment, and the creative outlet of sandtray play therapy. She is also trained in Brainspotting and finds this approach helpful to those with trauma symptoms. This eclectic approach allows her to tailor her methods to each client's unique needs and preferences. *Appointment requests are reserved for a 15 minute consultation call. During the consultation Jessica will discuss appointment availability, scheduling, and to make sure that she is a good fit.*
