Introduction

First and foremost, I am still learning to be human (as sung by Country Music singer Cody Johnson), but I also believe that I am fully Spirit; I am both, and some days they get along and other days, they fight each other to the bitter end (of the day!) I believe that emotions, feelings, thoughts and behaviors are all connected and healing is not linear. Healing is not static and grief can become a friend. I also believe that marriage is a beautiful reflection of some of our best qualities when we are loved well, but it can also be a reflection, like a mirror, to expose some of our deepest hurts - and being open, vulnerable, and honest can feel really intense. As someone who believes in the power of pre-marital counseling, and as a Certified Symbis Facilitator, I can offer an assessment of some of your strengths and opportunities as a couple that we can address together. Or maybe you're newly married and finding that you two have some blind spots and need some course-correcting - maybe I can help! My background looks a lot like failure, disappointment and discouragement, feeling like I “ran out of time” and that’s how I relate best with my client’s. I know the struggle of looking at yourself in the mirror and not sure who or what you are becoming, being concerned that there isn’t enough time or not even sure where to go from here. But, then I reached out to those around me, that I trusted, and believed were living a life that I wanted, and I found ways to take the best next step – and I believe that to be true for you- the next best step is the best next step! You are your greatest advocate - don't sell yourself short!
