Introduction

My full name is Jessica Hope Murph I prefer to be called Jess (she/her) I have an MS degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Counseling I am licensed to practice and Supervise future therapists in the state of Texas. Let me tell you a bit about me as a human: I am a cis, queer, white female, who owns her own virtual private practice, I enjoy cooking, I love animals, gaming, hiking, nature, and I am of the Neurospicy variety known as ADHD. I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and polyamorous relationships who have endured persistent pain and struggle which manifests in complex trauma, debilitating symptoms, and even their very personality. I enjoy working with other Neurospicy people, LGBTQQIA++ communities, and outside of seeing clients I enjoy public speaking and providing mental health education and advocacy. My approach is eclectic in design and humanistic by nature; I want my clients to feel comfortable, safe, and like they are talking to a real person with flaws and imperfections just like them. I use humor, I cuss, and I have feelings but my MO is always to hold space for my clients; I work for you and if what you need during a session is to break down then I'm here for it, and if what you need in a session is just to have some specially devoted time to talk about you then I'm also here for it!! ***This is just my standard introduction so please feel free to ask any questions and have expectations; I want you to get the most out of your therapy experience.***
