I’m passionate about helping those seeking change in their lives to achieve their goals. My education in multi-cultural counseling and social justice means that I approach each individual with empathy and awareness when it comes to navigating racial and gender identities, and life experiences. I understand we each have our own story and challenges, making the recovery and healing process unique for each of us. I help clients to identify and achieve small-scale, doable goals which build a foundation for lasting change. My primary focus is working with individuals struggling with anxiety, relationship issues, weight and body image, disordered eating and addiction. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and other tools to help clients overcome and move past behaviors that aren’t contributing to their personal growth and happiness. Congratulations on your willingness to create change in your life! You’ve taken the first step. I know firsthand how early life experiences can result in patterns of behavior that prevent us from being our best selves and what it takes to forge a new path forward.
