Introduction

Hi! My name is Jess Moore and I am a therapist who has been in the field for over 19 years. I own my own private practice called Abundant Life Counseling and I have immediate openings! I enjoy working with people on all kinds of issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family conflict, trauma and PTSD-related issues, and more. I have lots of experience working with children and youth who have a trauma history as well as problem sexual behaviors. I also really enjoy working with families and couples who are experiencing various forms of conflict. If your goal is to try to work through these and other types of conflicts, I would love to work with you! My approach is a combination of maintaining a solution focused mindset and utilizing cognitive behavioral techniques to assist individuals with making progress toward their goals. I also love incorporating faith and faith concepts in therapy when the client is open to this. I earned my master’s degree in counseling from a seminary and am a pastor’s wife so this focus comes naturally to me. Therapy is a partnership. I am here to help you with whatever concerns you have. I will treat you with respect, compassion, and carry an open mind as we work on your goals. Reaching out for support is an important part of anyone's journey. Everyone experiences problems in their lives and at times it can be helpful for someone else to support you in finding solutions to those problems. I would love to help you find ways to get past your stuck points and find wholeness and healing.
