I am a licensed psychotherapist in New York and Massachusetts, with a Master of Social Work from Boston College. I am trained in a variety of modalities and tailor my approach to each individual client's needs and preferences. Besides being an outpatient therapist, my background includes working on an interdisciplinary team in a medical setting- this has given me the tools to support clients from a holistic lens, taking into account both physical and mental health. I find that my clients respond most effectively to interventions that focus on the mind, body, and spirit, such as EMDR and mindfulness-based approaches. I have the utmost respect and admiration for my clients and the courage it takes to seek support. While I have specialized training in mental health treatment, I believe that each client is the expert on their own life experience. I see us as equals who are on the same team, and approach each therapeutic relationship from a stance of authenticity and connection.
