Jessica Gagne-Griffin is a licensed mental health clinician (LMHC). She believes that mental health is an imperative part of health care: “If you don’t make time for your wellness, you will be forced to make time for your illness.” Jessica's therapeutic style can be summarized as integrative, eclectic, and supportive. Overall, she has a humanistic, person-centered, and trauma-focused view. She mainly merges cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, existential therapy, and expressive arts; she also uses other modalities per client need. She has a growing interest in somatic therapies and holistic treatment to assist with improving physical and mental health. Her 10 years’ of experience as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) working in the Alzheimer’s unit at Catholic Memorial Home and geriatric psychiatry unit at St Anne’s Hospital assisted her in gaining a special interest working with older adults. She completed her master's level internship at the Elder Partial Hospitalization Program at Community Counseling of Bristol County co-facilitating groups.
