Hey! I am so happy you are here. I specialize in working with individuals as they navigate life’s transitions. The uncertainty and excitement of a new job, the upheaval of a move, the ending of a marriage, the pain of the loss of a parent, the intense love and anxiety after the birth of a baby. These milestones in our life often bring distress and a decrease in coping. Symptoms of distress such as anxiety, depression, problems sleeping, irritability, helplessness, hopelessness, and existential angst are lessened when they are normalized, validated, and given care. I founded my therapy private practice after years of working in social service agencies, Labor and Delivery/NICU units in the hospital and outpatient medical clinics, and wanting the act of engaging in healing to feel more inviting, inclusive, purposeful, and less judgey. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is foundational to positive outcomes and my wish is for my clients to feel safe, valued and to be open to having a good laugh in session from time to time. I see you as a whole person, with a rich history that has provided you with unique gifts. I utilize cognitive-behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapies in concert with attachment theory and the core concept of radical self-love and acceptance. Eliciting your knowledge that you are okay - even when you’re not. Contact me today for a free consultation! You can also learn more here: www.resiliencecoop.com
