I'm Jess, I prefer they/she pronouns, and I'm passionate about providing affirming, competent and ethical care to the clients that I see. My clinical focus is anxiety, depression and complex trauma. Clients that have the most success with me come into therapy with an open heart and open mind, and engage with me in a collaboration for their overall mental wellbeing. My goal is to build an environment where my clients are willing to try new things but are also not afraid to tell me if something is not working. Let's help you to identify your strengths and find peace in life. I put you and your experience first. I may have the degree but you know yourself best. During the therapeutic process we explore your story, and as you share we collaborate together to find coping skills and tools that work for YOU based on your values and strengths. In sessions I pull from Dialectic Behavioral Therapy and I am EMDR Trained. Building a life based on wellness can be a growing challenge with the state of the world today. Maybe we can learn how to change what we can change, accept what we cannot change and live a fulfilled life around all the challenges that inevitably pop up in life.
