Introduction
I am so glad you found my page. I know from my own experiences that searching for the right therapist can be overwhelming. If you were like most people, you started with a google search, and like all other google searches, loads of information to sort through presented itself. Now you are wondering if a therapist who gets you is even out there. Most therapists use their "about" page to highlight their educational and professional experiences as well as other useful information they feel will help you with your decision. Of course, I have the required credentials, but more importantly, do I have what you are looking for? I feel the clients who are the most successful in counseling with me are the ones who come ready to work, and who understand that we aren’t going to talk for an hour and have their problems disappear. My clients appreciate my candor and direct approach and they know we don’t dance around the issues. As far as our educational experiences, I graduated from Troy University with a Master's degree in Counseling and Psychology. I also have a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Prior to licensure, I worked as a corporate trainer after retiring from the US. Navy. I am from Tampa and love all Tampa sports teams.
