Hello, my name is Jerica Spriggs and I provide therapy for individuals who are looking for skills and support in their daily lives. Whether you are trying to heal from your past, navigate and process the present, or work towards goals for the future, therapy is a wonderful option. I have worked in the mental health field for 12 years in inpatient, outpatient and intensive outpatient settings. I have a deep passion for what I do. I take on a limited number of clients so that they can access the therapy they need without excessive waiting lists. I am certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (trauma treatment) and trained in a number of other treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I believe that my clients are the best experts on themselves. As a therapist, my job is to help you process challenges and empower you to achieve treatment goals using your strengths and tools that I can help provide along the way. I take confidentiality very seriously and I am honored that my patients trust me with their information. My therapy is a judgement free zone. My job is not to judge or determine what is right for you. The goal of therapy is for you to develop a skill set that you will be able to use individually outside of therapy over time. I understand that not every client and therapist are a good fit for one another. If my clients feel that they are not a good fit, I am absolutely happy to help them find another therapist-no questions asked. My goal is to facilitate getting you the treatment that is most beneficial to you.
