Many of us barely notice that we are so busy leapfrogging over the present to get to the next thing. So what does it mean to live in the present? What if we just were able to accept a person, thing, or situation just "as it is"? My approach to managing the difficulties in life is to look at how to be more present when our brains maybe reacting to the past events of our lives or worried about what is next. Assisting in identification of ones values and how one is living by them . What is impacting the inability to feel fulfilled? I use DBT, ACT, CBT and Trauma Focused approaches with my clients. I have training in Theraplay, Sandtray Techniques, Gottman Relationship Skills, and Trauma Informed CBT.
