As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Oregon and New York, I help adults ages 18+ who are struggling with depression, anxiety, relationships, and life transitions. I provide a compassionate and nonjudgmental space in which my clients feel “held,” heard, and helped. My therapeutic approach is personalized, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. My practice is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and utilizes a range of techniques including awareness of sensations in the body, narrative interventions, cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies (CBT and DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). I believe everyone has the capacity to heal and that meaningful transformations take place in the context of safe and supportive relationships, when we feel seen, understood, and accepted unconditionally. When a trusting relationship is cultivated, we discover how trauma may be impacting our lives as well as uncover and address destructive thoughts and behaviors. Together, we process your thoughts, feelings, and experiences to reduce suffering and increase joy and fulfillment. The bottom line: I meet you where you are—with patience, warmth, kindness, and insight. I assist in identifying and strengthening your own inner resources, your own wisdom, to work effectively with sources of challenge and pain on the road to a more satisfying life. You don’t have to do this alone.
