First and foremost, I appreciate your presence in today's moment and am glad you have landed on my profile. Your decision to seek and pursue psychotherapy is a very brave notion and I believe that everyone has a story to tell. It is because, you matter. Whether you may be going through past traumas and/or unresolved issues that is keeping you up at night, my approach is person-centered, multicultural, and eclectic. I operate on the theoretical framework of psychodynamic, Bowenian and Cognitive Behavioral Theory and tailor it to your needs to help you better manage stressors related to anxiety, depression, work stress that you cannot turn off and/or hard life transitions that are testing your frustration tolerance daily. Once we meet my role is to provide you with a safe space to dissect and process the meaning of these stressors, and help you move to a place where you can solidify the resolutions that are fitting to your lifestyle needs. As a clinician at heart, I have extended my helping capacities in the forms of being an advocate, scholarly writer, presenter, and academician. These additional aspects have helped to augment my clinical care for you and I look forward to walking alongside you in this journey of life. In closing, be gentle with yourself and take care. Fun facts: my favorite book is “When Breath Becomes Air” by Paul Kilanthi, playing Candy Crush and watching Shark Tank in which I have met Daymond John in La Jolla, CA. My family also volunteers for Operation Gratitude in the letter writing campaign.
