Jenny is a Supervised Marriage and Family Therapist committed to helping individuals, families, and couples learn how to build healthier relationship patterns. Her work focuses on targeting the unhelpful behaviors, habits, or beliefs clients have that inhibit them from showing up in their preferred way. Jenny helps clients build on their own resources as well as find new coping skills that help them reach their goals. She recognizes the importance of systems in our lives and how they can impact our current functioning and wellbeing. Jenny takes a collaborative approach to create an inclusive and empathetic environment for her clients. Jenny works with clients ages 2 years and older, while she has experience working with clients facing many challenges, her primary areas of interest include: anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, and family tension. Jenny tailors her approach to best meet each clients needs from evidenced based therapy practices. She utilizes techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Experiential Therapy, while also including mindfulness practices. Jenny has training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), Sand Tray Therapy, and Filial Therapy.
