Introduction

I work with people ages 13 and up. Typical topics in therapy range from growth and changes in identity, to navigating relationships as well as maintaining stability in mental health. I believe connection, also known as "fit", with a client is a key to success in therapy. There is always an open door for conversation and collaboration to assess how treatment is going. Educating clients about the connection between mind and body and how to use that connection to improve overall health is one of my favorite areas of treatment. I am passionate about continuing my education and seek ongoing consultation in working with trans and neurodiverse folks. I work from a place of cultural humility and acknowledge the privilege I hold as a White cisgender person. I attend trainings whenever I can on topics related to LGBTQIA, Neurodiversity, Body Positivity, Internal Family Systems and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I facilitate a clinical consultation group to help connect others with resources and collaborate to work more effectively with clients.
