My approach to therapy is not always your traditional approach. I utilize many evidence-based therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness while also making our time together interesting and fun. Many times deep healing work can occur without even realizing it. You may find yourself feeling an array of emotions from crying to laughing as we work together. I believe there is deep healing power in experiencing all emotions. Our initial session will begin with an assessment and getting to know you to determine your needs. Together we will work to develop goals for your sessions. Therapy looks different for everyone. Understanding yourself, your needs, and your own story is one of the bravest things you can do. Everyone is different. Figuring out what you need, who you are, and where life is taking you isn’t always easy. Life can often make us feel stuck, but there is hope.
