Introduction
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who understands the challenges and stresses that come with a growing family and children. Becoming a therapist was a natural extension of my childhood passions and interests. I’ve always wanted to help others, and originally I thought that passion was leading me into a career as a physical therapist. That quickly changed in college when I realized that listening to others, understanding their struggles, and partnering with them to find a healthy way forward was the biggest way I could help. I’m passionate about understanding how relationships, society, and internal factors can impact the way children adapt and grow. I possess training in helping children cope with trauma, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and mindfulness. West-Mehrer Therapy is the culmination of my experience, passions, and education. There is no more rewarding feeling than partnering with children and families to work through life’s difficulties from the inside out.
