Introduction

I work with sexual and relationship violence. It sounds weird to say that I love my job when I work with the subjects that I do...but I honestly love my job. I’ve worked with victims and survivors for years, and in many different settings and stages of their healing. Sexual and relationship violence has entered my life before, in addition to many close family members and friends. I help clients make sense of what happened. I help clients understand their feelings and trust other people again. I want clients to feel like they are putting the pieces together. I work with my clients to help them feel safe in the world.
