Introduction
Positive change, healing, personal growth, and the best solutions for oneself occur on a path of self-exploration, understanding, and acceptance. As your counselor, I will walk with you on that journey to provide encouragement, empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. Together, you and I will identify your strengths and learn what tools may be helpful to use along the way. Self-discovery is not a diagnosable condition and therefore isn't always understood by insurance companies, which is why JS Counseling Services chooses to be a private pay practice. This promotes a natural flow to the counseling process and allows me to prioritize you and your care. Counseling begins at the very first meeting without a need for history taking, extra form completion, or diagnostic assessment, unless you request it. By collaborating with you, I can offer the very best strategies for intervention as well as prevention that are tailored specific to what you need or want. You also have the choice of session length, frequency, and method, along with increased communication with me between appointments. I look forward to being your supportive guide as you come to know your true authentic self with increased awareness, confidence, meaning, and fulfillment.
