Introduction

Hi, I'm an attuned psychotherapist with a deep understanding of the complex dynamics that can arise from traumatic experiences. I believe in creating a safe and supportive space for my clients to explore their experiences and emotions. My compassionate and nonjudgmental approach fosters an environment where individuals feel comfortable expressing their deepest thoughts and feelings. Through a collaborative therapeutic relationship, I guide my clients towards self-discovery, healing, and personal growth. Drawing from my training in psychodynamic therapy, I help individuals uncover unconscious patterns and unresolved conflicts that may contribute to their challenges. I combine my approach with trauma-informed techniques, ensuring that the therapy process is sensitive to the unique needs and experiences of the individuals, partners and families I work with. I assist clients in developing healthy coping mechanisms, processing traumatic memories, and fostering resilience in adversity. Recognizing that trauma affects individuals on multiple levels, I take a holistic approach to therapy. I acknowledge the mind-body connection and integrate mindfulness practices, somatic experiencing, and other complementary modalities into my treatment plans. My comprehensive approach promotes overall well-being and supports my clients in achieving lasting healing and growth. My clients seek a collaborative and affirming therapeutic relationship based in trust, safety, transparency, and growth. We explore identify, decrease shame, build self-worth, and develop self-love. We recognize struggle in relationships and explore how to effectively identify and communicate needs and boundaries. Some goals could include increasing emotional availability, improving emotional regulation, exploring identity, improving self-esteem, decreasing anxiety, and working through trauma. I remind my clients nothing in the past or present that they have experienced, thought, felt, said, or done that could change my care, empathy, and support for them. I am their ally walking side-by-side throughout the darkest pathways and I am the first to congratulate them when they savor their successes. Our alliance is truly a unique partnership where the client does not have to worry, consider, or caretake for me. Even when our work together is done, I consider myself their therapist always.
