My clinical services include: FAA Aviation Neuropsychological Evaluations (HIMS Neuropsychologist) Neuropsychological or psychoeducational evaluations for children ages 5 and up through adult Educational Consultation and Independent Educational Evaluations ADHD, TBI/Concussion or Learning Disability evaluations Evaluations for College or University Accommodations Jennifer Larson (formerly Hiemenz) is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist by the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology, and has trained in child, adolescent, and adult neuropsychology. She sees patients aged 5 years through adult in her practice, and works with patients with ADHD, learning disabilities, neurological disorders, and traumatic brain injuries. She additionally completes aviation neuropsychological evaluations for aviators referred by the FAA and is a FAA-designated HIMS neuropsychologist. Dr. Larson completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Notre Dame, and completed her Ph.D. in School Psychology at the University of Georgia, with a concentration in clinical neuropsychology. She went on to complete a postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Neuropsychology and Developmental Disabilities at Kennedy Krieger Institute, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She has served on faculty at the UNC Chapel Hill Center for Development and Learning (Department of Psychiatry), UNC School of Education in the School Psychology doctoral program, and the UNC School of Medicine Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She has worked as a consultant for the NC Department of Public Instruction, and has served as both a school psychologist and Exceptional Children’s services director at a charter school. Intake consultations are currently offered via telehealth, and all evaluations are completed in person in her North Raleigh office. As of 1/1/2024, Dr. Larson is not in network with any insurance carriers. Please contact us for fee estimates for services. Dr. Larson is now able to provide telehealth services in several states through PsyPact (APIT 17114).
