The decision to reach out for counseling can be one of the most important and helpful things you can do for your mental health and wellbeing. The process can be frightening and uncomfortable. Sometimes we have to take a step outside of our comfort zones and try something new. One of my professional goals is to help build a calm environment and strong therapeutic relationship conducive to meaningful change. I believe that the treatment of mental health issues is done with the "whole person" in mind. This means that we also discuss physical health, social well-being, medications, and spiritual health. Counseling is also a learning process. I hope to teach you the tools to become your ideal self.
