ABOUT ME Welcome to J. Lore Counseling, LLC, a private mental health counseling practice owned and operated by Jennifer Lesieur, MS, LCMHC. This is a virtual only practice. I’m so glad you found me! I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor in the State of New Hampshire. I have worked in the field of mental health services for over 15 years, serving individuals of all ages and backgrounds. I specialize in the management of anxiety, depression, and stress, and provide counseling to support people in taking control of their lives, increase confidence, find balance, feel empowered, and experience joy in the areas most important to them. I utilize a variety of evidenced based therapeutic strategies that are tailored to an individual’s needs including traditional psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, illness management and recovery, and other mindfulness practices and techniques. WHAT TO EXPECT Seeking counseling can be an intimidating step to take in your wellness journey. It is also an important one. Each client of J. Lore Counseling is welcome to a free 15 minute consultation to determine if we are an appropriate client and provider fit. Relationship fit is an important factor when seeking therapy or counseling services to ensure trust and openness in this helping relationship. Clients are provided an initial diagnostic evaluation, or intake session, upon start of services. In this meeting, a full history of the individual is gathered in order to gain a better understanding of the various areas that may be impacting an individual's life. We will work together to establish goals for care and determine a plan for taking next steps to feeling like your best self. J. Lore Counseling is a paperless practice and clients will have access to treatment necessary forms and scheduling options through a secure online portal. Once services begin, you can anticipate 50 minute therapy sessions at a frequency that feels best for you in your wellness journey. This is determined during your care planning process. Many clients are best supported through weekly sessions, but frequency may vary depending upon your individual need and can shift at any time. FEES J. Lore Counseling, LLC is an out of network practice. Fees are due at the time of service. Failure to pay for services may result in canceled sessions or terminated care. All major credit cards are accepted. HSA/FSA may be accepted depending upon your individual insurance plan. Our easy to use online portal allows clients access to receive what is called a "superbill" each month. Superbills may be sent to your insurance company by you for reimbursement of out-of-network or out-of-pocket healthcare costs. Superbills are automatically sent to clients monthly to submit at their discretion. The No Surprises Act requires providers to disclose what is called a "Good Faith Estimate" of services. This is an overview of the estimated costs for your total care. J. Lore Counseling, LCC prides itself on cost transparency and there are no hidden fees.
