As a psychologist, I know that providing support services as early as possible is of great benefit. Accurate assessments allow for well-informed support services, identification of the interventions most likely to be helpful, and a tailored treatment approach. My goal is to work with you and your child to ensure that you have what you need to make well-informed decisions about interventions, therapies, school services, accommodations, and- most importantly- your next steps. This is why every assessment not only results in a comprehensive written report but also includes a separate feedback session where I review results, explain any diagnoses assigned as a result of the assessment, discuss recommendations, and answer questions. A little about me as a professional... I am a doctoral level licensed psychologist who completed a clinical residency and a postdoctoral fellowship at Yale University's Child Study Center in New Haven, CT. While at Yale, much of my time was devoted to neurodevelopmental and psychological assessment services. I was very fortunate to be trained by leading experts in the fields of autism, ADHD, dyslexia and other specific learning disorders, developmental and intellectual disabilities, and intellectual giftedness. My assessments are thorough and feedback is prompt. If you are looking for assessment or related services conducted by a skilled professional who cares, then reach out to me. I'd love to work with you and your child.
