Introduction
My name is Jennifer Gerber, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, Registered Play Therapist, and Registered Play Therapy Supervisor. I have been working with children and their families for 15 years as a therapist in a community mental health center and a private group practice. I have extensive training in Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Filial Therapy, PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy) and Theraplay. I integrate Sand Tray Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement and Desensitization Therapy) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Play Therapy when needed. I believe that parents are the most powerful change agents in a child's mental and behavioral health, and I am committed to partnering with parents and caregivers to help children live their most fulfilled and happy lives.
