Hi, I am Jennifer, and I am so glad to meet you. As your therapist, I bring many years of experience in helping individuals navigate their mental health journeys. I hold a Masters in Mental Health and Counseling from New York University and a Master’s in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Oklahoma where I specialized in holistic mental health, somatic/body awareness, and a whole-person approach using evidence-based theories. These include emotion-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, CBT, and mindfulness. My previous career was overseas working with the military and their families for 10 years. I hold a deep respect for family dynamics, post-traumatic stress disorder, and immigration. I currently have extensive experience in women’s issues including, couples work, maternal mental health, sex therapy and sex work, disordered eating, LGBTQIA+, and trauma.
