I have extensive experience working with clients who struggle with eating disorders, addiction, depressive disorders, and anxiety disorders. I have worked in a variety of settings, including: general mental health inpatient; an eating disorder residential treatment center; in-home services; outpatient services where I helped clients facing homelessness, clients experiencing crises including suicidality, and clients with severe mental health diagnoses. I like to get creative in my therapy sessions and with my interventions. I use tangible interventions like cognitive behavioral therapy thought logs, self-soothe boxes, coping skill lists, and journal prompts for additional self reflection. I believe that learning doesn’t stop when the session ends. The tangible skills we learn together are transferable to the real world. I will help my clients implement the skills we learn together in session throughout the week.
