Are you an athlete recovering from a devastating injury? Are you an athlete struggling with performance anxiety? Are you an athlete eager to invest in the mental side of the game to enhance performance? Jen Driscoll is a former professional and collegiate athlete who is passionate about the intersection of sport and mental health. She attended New York University, where she earned her master’s degree in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling. Prior to her graduate work, Jennifer attended Stanford University, where she was a scholar-athlete and captain of the women’s soccer team. Following her undergraduate studies, she played in the first professional soccer league for women before suffering a career-ending injury. She then worked in the financial and pharmaceutical industries for nearly a decade. When working with clients, Jen combines her experience in the athletic arena with her training in TEAM-CBT techniques at the Feeling Good Institute and stress-reduction techniques from the the Albert Ellis Institute. While she leans on a multitude of therapeutic approaches, she believes in using a collaborative approach, working as a team to awaken strengths, challenge distorted thinking, and develop practical tools to obtain optimal performance and mental well-being. Jen's motto: mental wellness is built and maintained through constant attention and effort.
