I completed my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology (Argosy University) and have been licensed for 12 years in Washington State and 5 years in Oregon State. My experience has allowed me to work in a variety of settings including college counseling centers, community mental health and private practice mental health settings. While I consider myself a generalist, my areas of speciality include treatment of eating disorders, anxiety, trauma and sports psychology. I work with ages 13 years and older. My approach to therapy is best described as integrative and collaborative with an emphasis in client-centered therapy. I acknowledge that the therapeutic relationship is the most important part of treatment and work to foster a safe environment in which clients feel comfortable and safe. I use a mix of evidenced based practices including, but not limited to, cognitive-behavioral, collaborative problem solving, ACT and interpersonal therapy. Client feedback is always incorporated in order to individualize treatment.
