Hello and welcome! I know how difficult it can be to navigate life’s challenges. I also know it may be even more difficult to seek help, but I’m so happy you’re here. Through our time together, we’ll explore where you are now and the goals you have for yourself, create a plan that will help you to move forward, and then work through it all together. I believe in creating an environment where individuals are empowered to explore their thoughts and feelings openly, with the goal of developing practical skills for managing challenges and building resilience. I am here to give you guidance, support, and teach you techniques to help you navigate your healing journey. My goal is to help you feel better so that you can live the life you envision for yourself! I take a customized approach with all individuals, incorporating various psychotherapy modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness practices, and mind-body techniques, among others. I have experience in working with people struggling with issues related to anxiety, depression, grief/loss, life transitions, gender identity, learning disabilities, ADHD, Autism, and many others. Additionally, my work within schools has given me unique expertise in school-related challenges and school-based interventions. I work with pre-teens, teens, and adults. I provide an inclusive, safe space with in-person or virtual appointments to suit your schedule. I offer sessions in both English and Spanish. Please reach out for a free consultation! I’d love to chat. _____________ Dr. Miranda graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Psychology in 2011 and obtained a Psy.D. in School Psychology from Rutgers University- The Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology in 2015.
