Introduction

My integrative approach to psychotherapy utilizes both evidence-based skills-focused therapies (such as CBT) and a strong Psychodynamic (insight-oriented) framework. I have a specialty in Clinical Health Psychology, and I am DBT-trained and EMDR-trained. Treatment interventions are thoughtfully chosen to fit the needs of each individual client. I help clients to explore their current concerns and past vulnerabilities and develop an awareness of how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors may be related to their distress. This process can reveal a deeper self-awareness known as insight, which in combination with learning motivational and coping strategies, can help clients to experience symptom relief and take intentional steps forward.
