Jennifer is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has specialized training in play and activity therapies. She attended Baylor University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. After graduation, she taught elementary school for six years. During that time she pursued her passion for helping others through the counseling program at Southern Methodist University. She graduated SMU with a Master of Science in Counseling and began her career as a counselor in private practice. Jennifer was born in a small town in central Texas into a large family. She spent part of her childhood on a cattle ranch in New Mexico where her love for nature began. Her heart is grounded in her family relationships, country roots, and the peace she finds in the beauty of her surroundings. She looks for every opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with her family and Great Danebull, Harper. Jennifer brings her counseling skills along with life experiences to work with you in finding creative ways of approaching your goals.
