Hi, I’m Jennie Denney, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist working under the supervision of Dr. Julie Lee and Rachel Daggett, MS, LMFT. I specialize in working with teens, parents, and families navigating the complex challenges of self-harm, religious trauma, and relationship struggles. My journey into therapy began as a parent—trying to support my own child through deep emotional pain. That personal experience lit a fire in me to understand not just what hurts, but why—and how healing happens in relationships. In therapy, I bring a calm, compassionate presence and a deep respect for each person’s story. I use attachment-based approaches, parts work, EFT, and tools from Gottman Method to help clients build insight, emotional regulation, and connection. Whether you're a teen overwhelmed by big emotions, a parent trying to understand how to support your child, or someone untangling your spiritual identity, I’m here to help you move from just surviving to building something more grounded and whole. Therapy with me is collaborative and down-to-earth. I don’t have all the answers, but I do know how to hold space for the hard stuff—and walk with you toward clarity, growth, and peace.
