JENNI JOHNSON, MSW/LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Jenni earned her Master’s degree in Social Work at WKU in 2010 and obtained full licensure as LCSW in 2016. Jenni currently practices as a child and family therapist with more than 15 years of experience in the helping profession. Jenni specializes in treatment of psychological disorders including anxiety, depression/mood, trauma, grief, personality, anger management, substance use, attention-deficit, adjustment to life stressors, and couples/marriage. Primary therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based, Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, and Strengths-Based. Jenni is certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for trauma treatment. Jenni brings extensive knowledge of community resources, collaboration with DCBS/CHFS, family/district court, and wrap-around services.
