Sometimes, even the strongest people amongst us need a little bit of help to work through some of life’s more challenging problems. Everyone has battles to fight and hurdles to overcome at some point. Whether you struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or any other issue, you should know that there is hope for a better tomorrow. I have a positive and optimistic view of human nature, and I believe all people have the ability to change. Therapy is a learning process, including learning and practicing new skills. It is my goal to help you reach your goals and move toward improved wellness, increased awareness, positive attitudes, acceptance of feelings, and healthy behaviors. I work to create safe environments that are engaging and respectful of the ways people are both alike and different in order to harness the full potential of and be beneficial to all individuals, couples, and families. I tend to use an integrated counseling approach that incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT).
