Introduction

Feeling stuck? Burned out? Like your tank is running on empty? In a world that often glorifies perfectionism and masks vulnerability, it’s easy to feel unseen, misunderstood, and overwhelmed. Outwardly, you’ve got it together, but inside, you’re wrestling with a sense of inadequacy that no amount of “doing the right thing” seems to fix. You’ve danced between procrastination and perfectionism for as long as you can remember, yet the intrusive thoughts and anxiety persist. The pressure to excel in every aspect of life can leave you feeling drained, trapped in cycles of self-doubt, anxiety, and disconnection. Life should be a thrilling journey of self-discovery, so why does it feel like a constant battle for the approval of others? Whether it’s struggles with body image, the relentless pressure to excel in work or academics, or navigating draining relationships, the weight of comparison and competition can feel suffocating. It’s easy to fall into patterns of self-neglect, disordered behaviors, or hiding behind a facade, afraid to reveal your true self for fear of rejection. You’re not alone in this struggle. Even the strongest among us can find ourselves emotionally paralyzed by life’s challenges. In a society that glorifies flawlessness, many of us are ensnared in the complex web of maladaptive perfectionism, sacrificing our well-being on the altar of unattainable standards. If you’ve ever felt the crushing weight of unrealistic expectations or the constant fear of falling short, know that you’re not alone. That’s where I come in. My ideal client is someone who simply wants to feel better. I embrace imperfection because, let’s face it, we’re all human. Authenticity and compassion are at the heart of my approach, peppered with a healthy dose of humor to lighten the load. I provide a warm, down-to-earth, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with authenticity and acceptance. Whether you’re grappling with life transitions, overwhelming anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or healing from complex trauma, I’m here to support you. I understand the fear of vulnerability and failure all too well. I’ve experienced the depths of shame and the sensation of hitting rock bottom with seemingly no way out. But through those struggles, I found growth and discovered my authentic self. Now, I’m passionate about helping others do the same. With clinical experience spanning from inpatient rehabilitation, residential substance abuse treatment, community mental health, and school-based therapy for adolescents, I’ve encountered a diverse array of struggles, yet underlying them all across the lifespan is a common thread of trauma, shame, and guilt. I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, including Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques, tailored to your unique needs and preferences. Together, we’ll unravel the complexities of your inner world, challenging destructive thought patterns, and fostering acceptance and self-assurance, while gaining perspective and connection. My mission is to help you feel healthy, energized, and empowered to unapologetically love yourself, your body, and your life. Therapy is a collaborative journey, and I’m dedicated to providing personalized support to help you uncover your authentic self, boost your self-worth, and cultivate self-compassion. From surviving to thriving, I’ll be by your side every step of the way.
