Introduction

After 20 years in a corporate career, I bring tons of passion and life experience into my work. I help individuals and couples ages 16+ with a broad range of challenges, traumas, circumstances, personalities, desires and goals. I have additional training in resilience-based EMDR, ADHD and Reiki. I use an eclectic and person-centered therapy approach, which means finding what works for you, with you. I also use ACT, CBT, mindfulness and other various modalities, as clinically appropriate. Have you tried all the tools & tricks you have up your sleeve & they're just not working anymore? How do you turn the routine grind of only going through the motions into a life you want to get out of bed for? Are you going in circles in your relationships? How can you heal and move past the old stuff so you can truly feel better? How do you figure out who you are and what you actually want? I work to bring authentic curiosity, hope, resilience, empowerment and compassion and unconditional positive regard into my work with each client. I enjoy helping people manage the stress of their multiple life roles and better understand the physical and relational responses to these challenges. I'm passionate about helping others navigate their identities, understand and manage societal expectations and better live in alignment with their goals and desires. I believe in forming a partnership with clients to help them build belief, confidence and practical tools to navigate transitions and everyday struggles. I love traveling, planning, working on (and sometimes completing) projects, researching and learning about all the things, naps, reading and watching rom coms, 90’s and early 2000’s music, sitting on her back porch, happy art, lifting weights, being on the water, spending time with friends, raising good humans and watching Ted Lasso. I am a National Certified Counselor pre-licensed in Missouri and working under the supervision of Shelley Wolfmeyer, LPC (Missouri / 2016033554).
